I love the ability that photo & film gives me to transform a situation or something that most may view as mundane or ordinary, into something else entirely magical. I’ve found that even on the dreariest of days, I am able to find some beauty in my surroundings to photograph.

Weddings are one of my most favorite events to document because of the varied emotions that span across the whole day. I love capturing your anticipation. The way you wring your hands by the window while you watch your guests arrive. Your tears when you put on your grandmother’s veil. The way he looks at you the first time he sees you on your wedding day.

When you thumb through your wedding album together, on your 20th anniversary, I want you to be reminded of how you felt on the day that you committed to each other. I strive for the emotion from the day to be so present in your photos that you feel like you’re simply re-living the day through a looking glass.
