JESS

Natural light is my favorite to work with-whether it’s the sun glimmering through the trees outside or pouring through the windows of your beautiful home. I would describe my style as genuine + candid + authentic. Do you hate being in front of a camera? ME. TOO. Why do you think I’m over here behind it? Everybody’s nervous at first and if they aren’t, they’re probably a professional model.

I’ll use a few tricks to break the ice a bit (mostly my SUPER RAD JOKES). I start out with light posing and direction and by the end, I’m usually pretty hands off, focusing on capturing the interaction and love between relationships. I think it’s such an honor to be chosen to document the most important days of peoples’ lives, or the growth of their sweet little family.

ALEX

Like Jess, I focus heavily on a documentary + candid style.

I get creative with my work but the first priority for me is capturing those beautifully raw moments between the relationships of the people in front of my camera. Getting a feel for the couple or the family I’m filming is what helps me build the story I’d like to tell from the beginning. I want to make sure my films are shot in a style that is authentic to the relationships that I’m documenting.

We prefer to have a relaxed + personal working relationship with our clients. This ensures our art is authentic to you and your loved ones. This is why we encourage engagement sessions with most of our wedding collections! Jess also photographs births, mothers, and babies and we feel it’s so important for the client to have a photographer that they feel relaxed around.
